Want to work for Google?
Google shapes the way that we consume information every single day.
They power a host of products, from maps to emails to autonomous cars. Key to their apprenticeship program, google apprentices get exposure to different areas and teams at Google while gaining a qualification and improving their professional skills.
Google’s apprenticeship scheme offers a foot in the door to one of the most innovative tech companies on the market.
When do they open?
In the UK, apprenticeship applications open in October of each year for an intake in the following year.
That means that applications for this year’s October intake will start their apprenticeships with Google in 2020.
The duration of apprenticeships ranges from 15-25 months, and are available across a number of apprenticeship frameworks. Previous intakes have included apprenticeships for Digital marketing, Infrastructure technicians, and software developers.
Google actively celebrate difference, with apprentices becoming part of their mission to build great products for every user, and their different experiences help ensure that our products are as diverse as our users.
Is this a paid apprenticeship?
Yes, all apprenticeships at Google are paid opportunities and apprentices will receive a competitive compensation package, including benefits and perks. All apprenticeships are held accountable by the UK government to pay a minimum apprenticeship wage.
