Becoming an Apprentice Onsite Engineer with Capita Managed IT Solutions:

As an Apprentice Onsite Apprentice, you will gain a high level of hands on IT and customer service skills whilst at the same time studying for an industry recognised qualification in IT. Gaining hands on experience in a supportive and knowledgeable team you will have a great opportunity to start your career in IT in the best possible place

What you will do:

  • Installing equipment across the site from servers to desktop PCs to printers
  • Handling queries from school staff covering all aspects of IT support
  • Maintaining equipment across the site
  • Working with other team members to ensure a smooth service for the client at all times

Your experience will include:

  • A keen interest in a career in the IT sector
  • Great customer focus
  • Great communication skills – both face to face and over the telephone
  • Ability to manage and prioritise own workload
